It is legal to have sex at 16 everywhere as far as ive heard. what is problematic is having sex at 16 with someone 18 or over. check on your specific states laws for that. Oregon washington, california are definitly pretty lax on all this. As long as youre above 12 and your partner is no older than 2years than you if hes over 18, youre good.

The problem lies in the fact that you can have sex with anyone at any time but if someone is underage and complains that you violated them then you have a problem.
