Answers:
First off, contact your credit card companies and your banks. Tell them that you lost your wallet and need new cards and to stop the use of the old cards. You can find your account numbers on the bills the credit card companies send you. Your bank account should be somewhere on the bank statements as well. If nothing else, ask the bank what you need to prove who you are.

Next contact the police and Social Security office. They will help you through the process of re-establishing your identifications.
are you really a us citizen? im calling immagration
check to see if you can get your ssi card first
were you in the military?
If so, you can try and get a new DD214 and work backwards through the system.
If you were born in the US - you can probably go online on Monday and get a copy of your birth certificate mailed to you from the county you were born in.
If worse comes to worse, you can hire an attorney and there is a procedure that they can use to establish your identity.
once you get yourself back together - never carry your social security card in your wallet
best of luck to you
First,go to the Dept . of Motor Vehicles in your state. When you got your drivers license, your fingerprints were taken. Have them retaken and they will match you. Also, tell the clerk your drivers license number which only you would know.
If I had a dollar for every time I said this, NEVER,NEVER,NEVER carry your Social Security card in your wallet or purse.Leave it at home in a safe place.
Go in person to your closest Social Security office and report your card lost.
Fill out the application for a new one,but you will receive a receipt that day for it. The new card will come in the mail in two weeks.
Once you get the drivers license and social security card replaced,THEN go get your copy of birth certificate. If you had a credit card or ATM card in your wallet, call the bank or credit card company to report them lost too.
in IL we can get a copy of a birth certificate at the county court house. it'll cost $13, $15 for 2 copies. but you have to go down and apply in person. didn't need an i.d. At the DMV for a dup driver's license, a bill to your home address, check book prove where you live. a picture i.d could be a work picture i.d. or an old college i.d. (my son is 20 and lost his wallet, he used his old high school picture i.d.) maybe your work could make one up for you. or maybe an official letter from work on their letterhead, saying you are who you say you are.(notarized) it's just an idea. keep trying. good luck to you
i'll let you know if i see it.
Contact your local DMV right away and tell them your situation. They should be able to advise you of what you can do to get a duplicate driver's license. Also, if you had any credit cards, etc. in your wallet, contact the companies ASAP. Alot of them have policies that you are responsible up to a certain amount until it is reported lost/stolen (why it's a good reason to read the fine print) and most fraudulent charges happen within the first 48 hours. Most important, being that ALL your identity was in there, you need to contact all 3 credit reporting agencies IMMEDIATELY and put a freeze on all of your credit. They will advise you how to do this. What this does is stop anyone from applying for credit under your S.S. # (yes including you) without proof and approval (which I believe must be written) from yourself. Identity theft is a big deal these days and I know unfortunate souls who have had this happen and it is HELL to fix. When you do get new copies of your birth certificate and S.S. card, DO NOT keep them in your wallet. Buy a cheap fire/waterproof safe at Walmart or Target for about $20 and put important documents like that in there. (Same place your vehicle title should be too. Just guessing that you probably keep yours in your car) Good Luck and visit these IMPORTANT websites for more info.

Go to the local Social Security office and request a duplicate card for the one that was lost. It's a simple form. They will mail you a replacement card, which you will never again carry in a wallet!! You must advise Social Security that your card was lost, because there is a real risk of identity theft and your number being used for illegal purposes. It also wouldn't hurt to report the lost wallet to the police. While it is unlikely that it will be turned in, you never know, and, more importantly, it will help to have an official record of the loss for replacement hassles, like the one you are having with PennDot, who totally suck (I have dealt with them). Once you get your replacement Social Security card, you can start to replace all the other stuff. If you haven't already done so, call all the credit card companies IMMEDIATELY or you will be held liable for charges made without your approval. If you are a student, ask your school's administration to issue you a replacement I.D. card. Same with an employer, voter registration, etc.

People lose their wallets (or they are stolen) all the time. There are provisions in place for replacement items. It is a pain in the @ss and takes time and effort, but, you will get it done.
